Cyclical Living: Embrace the Cycles of Nature at Home
Cyclical living is about following Mother Earth’s natural cycles and your cycle. The more I walk my self-healing path, the more I follow living this way. It feels natural and is something that I believe in deeply.
Living according to the cycles of nature is essential because you are a part of nature. Nature is always within you as you live on the beautiful planet Earth. When Mother Earth transforms, you are called to transform with the cycle into the next season of your life. The loving Gaia carefully drafted each season for your health and well-being.
When you live according to your cycle, whether it is feminine or masculine, you honor yourself, your rhythm, and your connection to nature. The more I follow my cycle, the more connected I am with myself. And the better I feel.
Living according to the cycles of nature is essential because you are a part of nature.
Cycles of nature at home
Cyclical living can also be brought inside your home to boost your well-being and connection to yourself and nature.
Growing up, my mom always ensured that our home reflected the changing seasons. She would switch out the cushions, some curtains, tablecloths, and flowers to e.g. create a cozy autumnal atmosphere. It wasn’t anything drastic but it significantly changed how we experienced the cycles of nature at home.
When you follow the cycles of nature at home, it’s important to do it sustainably by reusing and repurposing things year after year, so that you respect Mother Earth.
That means:
– Rather than constantly buying new things. Focus on timeless items that can be used for many years.
– Reuse and repurpose these things (carpets, curtains, pillow covers) year after year.
– Once the season is over, you wash them and store them in a closet to wait for the following year.
My mom’s curtains are a great example – they are over 20 years old and still look beautiful!
So look around your home and see how to bring more autumnal spirit into your space. Don’t be afraid to repurpose old items and give them new life.
Look within your soul & home:
Will you start looking into living more cyclically to boost your well-being?
With what type of small changes could you bring the current season – into your home?
